How the GivingLottery supports Animal Justice Project

We reached out to Sara Haggerty, the Fundraising Development Manager at Animal Justice Project, to find out how being part of our giving community has helped their cause with their fundraising.

Animal Justice Project joined our GivingLottery in 2022 and to date have raised over £1,750. This is what Sara had to say:

"The GivingLottery is not just a platform; it's a user-friendly tool that empowers our supporters to make a difference. Its intuitive design makes it incredibly easy to use, allowing them to get involved and help us in our mission to abolish animal agriculture with just a few clicks. 

What's not to love about the GivingLottery? It's a win-win situation! You get to support vital work like ours while also having a chance to win. With each ticket sold, both supporters and Animal Justice Project benefit. It's not just a lottery; it's a chance to be part of something bigger.

The funds we raise through the lottery drive our mission forward. We use the money to conduct in-depth investigations into animal exploitation, run impactful campaigns that expose the realities of animal agriculture, and fund education initiatives that inform the public about compassionate alternatives. Public engagement is also crucial, and these funds help us reach more people, spreading awareness and inspiring action.

To sell tickets, we reach out to our community through newsletters and social media, emphasising how their support directly fuels our efforts to create a more compassionate world for all species. I'm currently in the process of creating an email journey for existing lottery players and creating informative content to entice our supporters who have yet to sign up. We look forward to increasing the number of players who can make a difference for animals every day!"
