Supporting Bereaved Parents: How Luna’s Fund Is Creating Lifelines Through Compassion and Community
A Charity Built From Personal Experience
Luna’s Fund was created to support bereaved parents across Devon and Cornwall following the loss of a baby. Standing for “Love & Unity for Neonates And Stillborns” the charity offers practical and emotional support designed from the lived experience of Luna’s parents and the help they wished they had during their own grief journey.
Their services provide immediate support during an incredibly difficult time, including relaxing getaways in Cornwall and Devon, food shopping deliveries, nursery restoration, and online support groups for grieving families.
Supporting Families Through Pregnancy After Loss
Through the Story Raine Project, which stands for “Supporting Through Our Rainbow Years”, Luna’s Fund also supports parents navigating pregnancy after loss.
Named after Luna’s little brother, the project was inspired by the anxiety and emotional challenges Luna’s parents experienced during a subsequent pregnancy. Families can access private antenatal scans alongside online support, helping provide reassurance and connection during an emotional time.
Raising Unrestricted Funds Through GivingLottery
Alongside donations and fundraising, Luna’s Fund is also raising regular unrestricted funding through our GivingLottery.
With 29 supporters currently playing, the charity is on track to raise over £1,000 this year, funding that can help support families when they need it most.
