Together our supporters have raised over £2million for UK based schools, charities and good causes.
Our charity was founded in 2006 by four Hertfordshire Dads who agreed to use their different business skills to benefit charities and schools rather than profits for shareholders. Since then, we have grown to become a larger team with an excellent mix of skills but with a passion to champion the thousands of causes that are part of our “Giving” nation.
Every year online shops pay millions in sales commissions to other websites that direct shoppers to them (e.g. voucher code websites). At TheGivingMachine our Shop&Give platform turns these commissions into donations for the shopper’s chosen good cause(s) without it costing anyone a penny more.
We also run the GivingLottery, an exciting fundraising lottery scheme that is a free and easy way for schools, charities and community groups to raise vital funds. Players can win up to £25,000 while supporting causes that matter to them from just £1 a week.
With over 10,000 beneficiaries registered and raising money via TheGivingMachine our supporters have impacted schools, pre-schools, Scout groups, local charities alongside the well know national charities such as Mind and the Alzheimer’s Society.
Richard Morris, Co-Founder and CEO of TheGivingMachine said:
"It’s great to take a moment to celebrate how amazing supporters have used our services to generate over £2m in donations to support good causes all over the UK. We’re a small charity and I’m so proud of all the people past and present who have helped make this happen and while we take a little time for celebration, we are focused on helping the next £million to be generated to make a difference"
