Successful Community Grant cause
The Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of Whitton
The Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of Whitton believe in inclusive church – a church which celebrates and affirms every person and does not discriminate. They challenge the church where it continues to discriminate against people on the grounds of disability, economic power, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, learning disability, mental health, neurodiversity, or sexuality.

Their grant application
When they applied for a Community Grant, The Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of Whitton informed us that their Church Rooms, which are used by the community for various events, needed improvements. A priority was to get the floor resealed and if successful, the funds would contribute to the costs of resealing the floors.
What they spent their grant on
Paul Trickey, Honorary Treasurer from The Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of Whitton shared how they spent their £250 unrestricted grant.
“The money contributed to re-sealing our hall floor - much more enjoyable for yoga classes and easier to keep clean!
All our hall hirers appreciate it!”
